Account Manager (Corporate)
About the role
Own corporate relationships end to end—from onboarding and steady-state care to renewal and growth. You ensure each business reaches its fullest potential through clear insight and rigorous information gathering. You spot new markets and opportunities, know how to leverage them for Dootsa and for clients, and read people and dynamics with maturity.
What you will do
- Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of corporate accounts; build trust, rhythm, and clarity. - Design and steer information needs with clients (briefs, success criteria, feedback loops) so research and delivery stay aligned with their goals. - Partner with research, product, and operations to translate client priorities into plans that ship. - Identify gaps and upside: where clients under-serve a segment, miss a signal, or leave value on the table—and frame actionable recommendations. - Map and explore new markets (categories, geographies, use cases); size opportunities and align our strengths to client outcomes. - Track account health, usage, and outcomes; anticipate risk, protect renewals, and grow accounts where fit is genuine. - Contribute to playbooks and narratives so excellent account work scales beyond individual heroics.
What you need
- Commercial maturity: comfortable in corporate settings; crisp written and spoken communication; reliable follow-through. - Strong insight instinct: turn messy reality into a clear story—what matters, what is missing, what to do next. - Opportunity radar: notice patterns (market, competitive, behavioural) early and articulate why they matter and what we could do. - Human fluency: read rooms, manage expectations, handle tension, and build alignment without being naive or pushy. - Curiosity about markets: enjoy learning how industries work, who decides, and where new demand may appear. - Organisation: juggle accounts, deadlines, and internal handoffs without dropping the ball. - Nice to have: B2B SaaS, research or insights, or customer success in a complex sale; exposure to surveys, data, or evidence-led storytelling.
