Donation Policy

This policy explains how Dootsa account-to-account points donations work, what is allowed, and how we handle safety, compliance, and audit logging.

1. Feature Availability

Points donations are disabled by default. If you want access, contact help@dootsa.com. We may enable, disable, or limit donation access at any time for risk, fraud, or compliance reasons.

2. What Points Donations Are

Points donations are loyalty-unit transfers inside Dootsa. Points are not cash, e-money, cryptocurrency, or a regulated payment instrument. Selling or exchanging points for money or off-platform value is prohibited.

3. Safe Donation Flow

  • Donations must be sent using Dootsa-issued donation QR links or in-product controls.
  • You must confirm the recipient before submitting a donation.
  • Completed donations may be irreversible unless required by law or due to Dootsa platform error.
  • Self-donations and abusive behavior are blocked.

4. Fraud, Abuse, and Enforcement

We may pause, review, reverse, or reject donations where fraud, coercion, account compromise, policy violations, or operational risk is suspected. We may rotate donation QR tokens and temporarily suspend donation capability while investigations are active.

5. Audit Trail and Records

Donation transactions are logged for security and compliance, including sender/recipient identifiers, amount, visibility mode, timestamps, and moderation actions. These records support dispute handling, fraud monitoring, and legal obligations.
